ISWA Study Tour & Training Course on Bio-Waste Management, AUSTRIA, Sep 10-14, 2018

From 10 to 14 September 2018 we hold the 2nd ISWA Study Tour & Training Course on Bio-Waste Management in AUSTRIA.


It will give an insight into separate collection models and treatment techniques of organic waste through a smart combination of theoretical seminars and site visits. We will cover large & small scale composting, vermi-composting, compost marketing and product development, mechanical biological treatment of residual waste, anaerobic digestion and biomethane production. In addition you wil learn about modern Quality Management and Assurance, the legal and economic framework conditions as well as the economics, logistics and PR works of smart collection schemes. A special focus will be on the very successful low cost, decentralised composting schemes in cooperatioin with agricultural farms, and the B2B meetings with technology suppliers as well as representatives of waste management associations and international experts.
