Great Success of Competition - Power of Soil! - on March 30, 2010

Many thanks for the huge amount of submissions. Up to March 18, 2010 the male and female pupils from over 80 different educational institutions in Lower Austria submitted more than 1,150 pieces of art in four categories!

A technical jury evaluated the winners on the base of online voting on March 30, 2010 (ranks 1 to 3). For the assessment, the following criteria were established:

• Originality/creativity
• Conception/technical implementation
• Relation towards the topic of soil
• Overall impression

The winners will be notified by phone in the next few days.

We invite the winners and a limited number of additional participants of the competition to attend the final event on April 30, 2010 in St. Poelten.

On April 30, 2010 the final event of the competition of "Power of Soil" will take place at house no. 1a in the Office of the Lower Austrian Provincial Government.

Time: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
Rooms: hall of Lower Austrian provincial government / Waldviertel hall and Weinviertel hall
