17th meeting of Danube countries: „International Soil Conservation"
The meetings of the experts in soil protection from the countries of the Danube region have taken place in Lower Austria for many years. This year, the experts from eight nations with the chairmanship of Michal Dzatko (Slovakia) provided advice on and reported about measures and activities serving as an example in soil protection.

Walter Wenzel (University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna) elaborated the concept with regard to contents of the 2 days' event. Peter de Martin, General Secretary of the Danube Countries Working Committee, was responsible for the permanent cooperation of experts
