The introductory seminar is dedicated to the importance of humus for soil fertility and climate protection. The humus balance with the site-adapted humus balance method is illustrated by an example. The second focus of the seminar will be on the benefits
and drawbacks of various humus-building measures such as crop rotation, crop residue management, green manure and compost discussed so you can make the optimal decision for your farm.

Humus balance calculation seminar
In the calculation seminar, you will learn in small groups to use the humus balance program to calculate humus balance sheets for your own business. You will learn how to extract the soil data for humus balancing from eBOD, the electronic soil map, and what information eBOD still holds that you can use for your farm. Following the calculation seminar, you will receive the humus balance program for your personal use.
During the period between the humus balance calculation seminar and the results seminar, the participants receive telephone assistance, so to speak "individually supervised e-learning" in the amount of a maximum of 0.5 hours per participant.
